KUALA LUMPUR - In the men's doubles match of the Petronus Malaysia Open 2024, which took place at the Axiata Arena at 1.54 pm today, Malaysia defeated Denmark 2-0.
Malaysia can be considered the dark horse, as Denmark has a very strong team, and initially Malaysia was not favored at all in this battle. However, World No. 12 men's doubles players Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi defeated World No. 4 Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen with scores of 21-10 and 21-11.
The battle, which ended up taking 42 minutes, made Malaysia's name and the place was abuzz with cheers for the Malaysian team.
